THE 4i FORUM
We have identified a gap in our industrys' traditional learning curriculum. It represents one of the most challenging and important areas of activity for the corporate real estate professional. It is a key enabler for individual and team performance success in the future: that is, the ability to influence organisations and promote the CRE function as a catalyst for driving cultural and organisational change in business.
Nigel Baker, Senior Director EMEA Corporate Real Estate, Microsoft
If Property Execs are looking to increase their influence in the corporate world, this is the learning they should concentrate on. The first workshop I attended was led by a distinguished business and management leader with broad experience of many organisations. Don't expect a lecture... this was about examination and debate of the issues facing companies today: achieving innovation, developing new thought processes and tackling bottlenecks. Apply this thinking to how we operate in property and you will add value to your organisation. I am going to all the events!
Matthew Wylie, Director, EDS Real Estate EMEA

Why a Forum?
The CoreNet Global UK Corporate Real Estate 4i Forum is a series of hard- hitting, subject connected one-day seminars. The membership is self- steering in terms of topics and responsibility for learning outcomes. These events offer an opportunity for connected interest groups to challenge themselves to deal with real business issues and work through them to successful conclusions.
In all instances, participants are encouraged to discuss and debate with other participants and to question key speakers and guest case study presenters. Topics are identified by the Forum members as key issues for them.
The aims
- To create a strategic Forum for real estate executives from corporate and support organisations
- To provide a vehicle for debate, approaches and experiences that will enable executives to add value in the boardroom
- To broaden thinking and ways of working for real estate executives, to excite them and lead to them becoming more entrepreneurial within the context of a corporate environment
Outcomes
- To enable the programme members to elevate real estate in their corporate environment
- To develop breakthrough ideas which will have a significant impact on the real estate business philosophy of the future
- To have an impact on strategic thinking by linking and integrating the learning directly to the programme members strategy and business processes
Networking
At each Event, participants are actively encouraged to network; either informally at coffee and lunch breaks or more formally though facilitated group work. Participants are actively encouraged to debate, challenge and discuss topics during the day. This provides a great opportunity to share best practice and benchmark with other members.
Costs
Cost per person for each of the three Events : £75
A similar pricing structure will be applied to subsequent Events in the programme.
